억울하게 사살당한 해수부 공무원 형의 서한주한미대사관 통해 이메일과 원본 전달

    먼저, 미국 대통령 당선과 취임을 진심으로 축하드립니다.

    저는 2020년 9월 22일 21시 57분경 서해 연평도 인근 양상에서 북한군에 체포되어 사살되고 시신이 불태워진 대한민국 해양수산부 공무원 이대준의 형 이래진입니다.

    국방부에서 도청했다는 SI첩보를 근거로 문재인 정부는 11개 기관을 동원하여, 내 남동생이 자발적으로 바다에 뛰어 들어 북한으로 넘어갔다고 주장하였습니다. 

    그리하여 저는 원양어선 항해사와 원양선사로 10년을 근무한 경험을 토대로 동생이 승선했던 무궁화 10호를 직접 타고 조사에 나섰습니다. 
    해양전문가인 남동생이 조류도 강하고 차가운 바다에 뛰어들면서 방수복을 입지 아니했다는 점 등, 자진 월북으로 볼 수 있는 그 어떤 명확한 증거도 찾을 수 없었습니다.        

    또한 2023년 12월 초 감사원 최종 감사내용에 따르면, 자진월북이 아닌 월북으로 조작하기 위해 11개 기관이 조직적으로 증거를 은폐하고 거짓된 내용을 발표하며 월북으로 조작한 것으로 결론이 났습니다. 

    그 기간동안 나와 남동생의 유가족은 민주당과 문재인 정부로부터 자진월북 프레임에 동조하도록 협박 받았고, 이로 인해 고통스런 시간을 보내고 있습니다. 

    동생의 억울한 죽음을 알리기 위하여 국내외에 유력한 정치인들을 만났고 2022년에는 미 국무부를 방문하고, 오토 웜비어 가족도 만났습니다.

    윤석열 대통령께서 취임한 후에야 문재인이 감추고 도망간 안보실의 1심 재판기록과 해경의 초동수사 자료를 열람할 수 있었으며, 이를 토대로 문재인 정권의 연루자 약 20여 명을 고발, 비공개로 재판이 진행되고 있습니다. 

    그러나 제가 요구한 북한 교신 내용 및 관련 자료는 퇴임전 갑작스레 대통령 지정 기록물로 지정되면서 최장 30년간 열람이 불가하게 되었습니다. 

    북한의 김정은 이 (동생) 사망 이틀만에 전통문과 사과문을 보내왔지만, 문재인 정부는 북한과 연락할 채널이 없었다는 뻔뻔한 거짓말을 하며 사과조차 하지 않았습니다. 

    국가의 제1 의무는 국민의 생명과 재산을 보호하는 것이기에, 정부는 선제적 조치를 취했어야 하는데 본인들의 의무는 다하지 아니하고 되려 증거를 은폐하고 조작하며 한 개인인 제 동생에게 그 책임을 다 떠넘겼습니다. 

    그렇기 때문에 동생의 발견과 체포 사살의 경위의 진실을 밝혀주실 수 있는지 트럼프 대통령님께 간청 드립니다. 
    김정은 에 의한 살인만행과 동생의 주검을 억울하게 만든 문재인 과 민주당의 만행을 밝혀 주실 것을 간곡히 요청합니다. 

    자기들의 잘못을 덮기위하여 거짓말로 협박한 민주당을 용서할 수 없습니다. 

    저는 지금의 대한민국 갈등이 민주주의의 기본권을 침해하고 범죄를 덮으려는 침략행위라 생각합니다. 
    이러한 문제는 국가의 기본권이 아닌 북한, 소련, 중국과 친화적인 친공세력과 반공세력의 다툼, 즉 신냉전 중이라고 생각합니다. 

    그런 이유로 한국의 양당 갈등은 미국의 민주당과 공화당의 갈등과 이데올로기적으로 다르다고 생각합니다.  

    한미일 공조를 탄탄히 다지며, 대한민국이 공산세력을 견제할 수 있는 자유진영의 우방국으로 남을 수 있도록 힘을 쓸 수 있는 분은 트럼프 대통령님 뿐이라고 생각합니다. 

    그래서 저는 세계평화와 자유민주주의, 자본주의발전을 추구하는 트럼프 대통령님의 당선과 취임을 손꼽아 기다려왔고, 대통령님의 취임이 억울한 동생의 죽음을 밝힐 수 있는 변환점이 될 것이라 기대합니다. 

    다시 한 번, 미 합중국 대통령의 당선과 취임을 진심으로 축하드립니다.

    《A Plea for Justice and Truth Regarding My Brother's Tragic Death》

    Dear President Trump,

    First and foremost, I sincerely congratulate you on your election and inauguration as the President of the United States.

    My name is Raejin Lee, the elder brother of the late Daejun Lee, a South Korean Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries official. 

    On September 22, 2020, at approximately 9:57 PM, near Yeonpyeong Island in the West Sea, my brother was apprehended by North Korean forces, brutally killed, and his body was burned.

    Based on intercepted intelligence obtained by the Ministry of National Defense, the Moon Jae-in administration mobilized 11 governmental agencies to claim that my brother voluntarily jumped into the sea and defected to North Korea. 

    Drawing on my 10 years of experience as a navigation officer and crew manager for deep-sea fishing vessels, I personally boarded the Mugunghwa 10, the ship my brother had been on, to conduct my own investigation. 

    As a maritime expert, I found no concrete evidence to support the claim of voluntary defection. 

    Notably, my brother, an experienced maritime professional, would not have entered the cold sea with strong currents without wearing a waterproof suit, which was left in his cabin.

    Furthermore, according to the final audit findings released by the Board of Audit and Inspection in early December 2023, it was revealed that the defection narrative was fabricated. 

    Eleven agencies were found to have systematically concealed evidence, announced false findings, and manipulated the investigation to support the defection claim. 

    During this time, my family and I were threatened by the Democratic Party and the Moon administration to align with their defection narrative, causing us immense pain and suffering. 

    To expose the injustice surrounding my brother’s death, I have met with influential politicians both domestically and internationally. 

    In 2022, I visited the U.S. State Department and met with the family of Otto Warmbier.

    It was only after President Yoon Seok-Yeol's inauguration that we gained access to the initial investigation records from the National Security Office and the Coast Guard, which had been concealed by Moon Jae-in. 

    Based on these findings, approximately 20 individuals linked to the Moon administration were accused and are currently undergoing closed court trials. 

    However, the North Korea communication records and related materials I requested were suddenly classified as presidential archives just before Moon’s departure from office, making them inaccessible for up to 30 years.

    Although Kim Jong-un sent a letter of condolence and an apology just two days after my brother’s death, the Moon administration brazenly lied, claiming there was no communication channel with North Korea, and failed to issue any apology. 

    The primary duty of any government is to protect the lives and property of its citizens. 

    Instead of fulfilling this duty, the Moon administration concealed and manipulated evidence, shifting all responsibility onto a citizen—my brother.

    Therefore, I earnestly plead with you, President Trump, to uncover the truth about the circumstances surrounding my brother's discovery, apprehension, and killing. 

    I also respectfully urge you to shed light on the atrocities committed by Kim Jong-un and the Democratic Party of Korea, who unjustly framed my brother and used threats and lies to cover up their own faults. 

    I cannot forgive the Democratic Party for their deceit and intimidation.

    Currently, South Korea is at a crossroads, with the country teetering on the edge due to the destructive actions of the Democratic Party, which infringe upon the fundamental rights of democracy while attempting to cover up their own crimes. 

    I believe the current conflict in Korea is not merely a left-right ideological struggle, but part of a new Cold War—a battle between pro-communist forces aligned with North Korea, China, and Russia, and anti-communist forces advocating for freedom and democracy. 

    In this sense, I believe the disputes between the two parties in Korea differ ideologically from those between the Democratic and Republican parties in the U.S.

    I firmly believe that only you, President Trump, can solidify the trilateral alliance between South Korea, the United States, and Japan, ensuring South Korea remains a strong ally in the free world, capable of countering communist forces. 

    For this reason, I have long awaited your return to office, believing that your leadership can be a turning point in revealing the truth behind my brother's unjust death. 

    Once again, I sincerely congratulate you on your election and inauguration.
